This is my first post in the world of blogging. I am fortunate enough to be able to stay at home with my two sons, age 16 and 15 months yet I feel the need to do something "intellectual". I also would like to become a better homemaker. I am part of the generation that were amongst the first "latchkey" kids. My mom worked and did the best she could so we had good meals but they weren't from scratch. And she didn't have much time for housework let alone time to teacher my sister and I the household arts. So along with a lot of other people my age I lack some skills. I also worked outside the home for the last 20 years or so therefore I haven't had much time to learn or practice homemaking. I have diverse interests from scrapbooking to history, grave hunting to reading. Follow along with me as I try to learn how to be a better homemaker. I'm sure there will be some misadventures and a lot of fun along the way!
